The Italian Embassy in Zagreb traditionally plays an active role in promoting inventiveness, technological knowledge, and manufacturing experience gained in the industrial and scientific sphere. On October 6th, the Embassy held the conference \"Robotics - From the Workshop to the Market,\" which was connected to the event \"Challenges of Industry 4.0: Research, Innovation, and New Technologies as Tools for Increasing Business Competitiveness,\" held in Zagreb in April of last year. The conference took place at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FMENA) of the University of Zagreb and focused on three important topics: the use of robotics and advanced automation in the manufacturing industry and related services; the impact of training systems and research activities on innovation and entrepreneurship; and the promotion of support frameworks and guidance for researchers, innovators, and companies introducing advanced technologies.
The Italian Ambassador in Croatia, Pierfrancesco Sacco,<\/strong>, welcomed the participants. Alongside numerous students attending the conference, there were also representatives of diplomatic missions, including Israeli Ambassador Ilan Mor, the Rector of the University of Zagreb, Damir Boras, the Dean of FMENA, Dubravko Majeti\u0107, academician Zvonko Kusi\u0107 (as a representative of Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovi\u0107), Hrvoje Me\u0161tri\u0107, the Head of the Science and Technology Directorate at the Ministry of Science and Education, and Bojan Batini\u0107, the Head of the Internationalization Department at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
As part of the conference, it held a tour of the Regional Center of Excellence for Robotic Technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
