Today at 10AM, Josip Vidaković defended his PhD thesis entitled "Model of Robot Task Learning Based on Human-Robot Interaction", with the highest grade. Congratulations!

The Division for Manufacturing and Assembly System Planning presented the autonomous robotic system for stereotactic neuronavigation, RONNA G5, at the medical products fair "Medica" in Düsseldorf from 18 to 21.11.2019. RONNA G5 was presented at the fair as one of the five finalists of the competition "KUKA Innovation Award" whose theme was medicine and healthy living.

Following the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, on 14 November 2019, for the first time a "Project Day", where visitors could become more familiar with the wide range of projects currently being implemented at the FSB, was organized. The signing ceremony of the Contract for Construction Works marked the beginning of the construction works of the "Regional Center of Excellence for Robotic Technologies – CRTA" within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. CRTA will become a center of excellence for research, development and education in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence, and is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

In the print edition of Vecernji list from 5.11.2018. an interview with Professor Bojan Jerbić on the subject of medical robotics in Croatia and technological development was published.
Our two team members, Josip Vidaković and Nikola Vitez are headed to the KUKA Education Centre in Augsburg to gain new knowledge about LBR robots within the next week. The training is carried out as part of the KUKA Innovation Award program, where five candidate teams have continuous support and advice to be as efficient as possible during the implementation phase.
