Doctoral students of architecture and urban planning visited CRTA
Students of the 9th generation of the Postgraduate Doctoral Study Program in Architecture and Urban Planning from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb, visited the Regional Center of Excellence for Robotic Technologies (CRTA) on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
This is a field trip as part of the Intensive Seminar "Space" led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kristina Careva. The head of CRTA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marko Švaco, acted as host and gave a lecture to the guests explaining the genesis of the Center, its development, and major research projects and directions.
The lecture was followed by a tour of the space, which was a valuable experience for doctoral students in terms of understanding the functional, design and technological characteristics, especially since there are not many such spaces in Croatia. During the conversation, the students showed equal interest in discussions about spatial solutions as well as those related to the research being conducted at CRTA.
Such visits between the components of our University open up horizons, and also become a good nucleus for possible new research within the interdisciplinary discourse.
