DATACROSS

Advanced Methods and Technologies in Data Science and Cooperative Systems

Project DATACROSS gathers a network of leading Croatian higher education and scientific research institutions with the aim of strengthening cooperation in the field of scientific research, technology development, and knowledge transfer.

The project holder is University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, and in which more partner institutions from different parts of Croatia participate in its implementation.

DATACROSS is a project of the Center of Excellence for Data Science and Cooperative Systems (CoE ACROSS-DataScience) which deals with research problems of developing advanced methods and technologies for analyzing heterogeneous data and shaping complex cooperative systems.
The project represents a turning point because it will significantly strengthen the research capacity of the ZCI, enabling a high intensity of cutting-edge scientific research and the transfer of knowledge and technologies to the economy. This will have significant positive long-term effects on strengthening the research sector and economy in the Republic of Croatia and the EU, as well as Croatian society as a whole.

The project fosters interdisciplinary collaboration between faculties of technical, natural, and traffic sciences, as well as scientific institutes, thereby creating a strong platform for the development of innovative solutions and the advancement of scientific excellence.

Through joint activities, partners work on developing new research approaches, strengthening institutional capacities, exchanging knowledge and experiences, and encouraging the inclusion of young researchers in scientific and development projects.
