FSB and CRTA at the Robotics and Automation Fair in Sisak

Our students of the Study of Mechatronics and Robotics, together with researcher Albert Androšić from CRTA, presented FSB and CRTA at the Robotics and Automation Fair in Sisak. The fair was held in a separate facility of the RCK Technical School in Sisak, which is the permanent host.

The Robotics and Automation Fair has been part of the program activities of the Regional Competence Center of the Technical School of Sisak for the third year in a row. This year, as many as 31 exhibitors participated in the Fair, of which 29 were local and regional companies, associations, higher education institutions and institutions from the Republic of Croatia and two companies from Slovenia. In addition to FSB, the universities and higher education institutions that attended the event were the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb, the Technical Polytechnic in Zagreb, the Technical Faculty of Rijeka and the Faculty of Metallurgy in Sisak. The fair showcased the latest products, services and technical solutions in the field of automation, industrial robotics, mobile robotics, CNC technology, Industry 4.0, industrial pneumatics, sensors and integration of the aforementioned systems.

Modern equipment on display includes CNC turning and milling machines, an EOD demining robot, police drones, robotic arms for manipulation, mobile robots for open and closed spaces, educational robots, modular production systems, flexible production systems, solar and electric vehicles, the FSB Racing Team formula, etc.

At our stand, visitors had the opportunity to operate TELLO drones, ASTRO robots and learn about the fields of robotics through educational content. They were particularly interested in the humanoid robot NAO, driving the ASTRO robot and the climbing robot. In addition to students from high schools in Sisak, we also attracted teachers, other visitors and even the youngest ages who were fascinated by the 3D printed pendants, fidget spinners and other exhibited materials.

Thank you to students Matija Pongračić, Ivan Noršić and Lovro Joksimović for their participation and help!
