In modern industrial enameling that includes fireplaces, grills, stoves and flue pipes, today there is a great interest in black matte enamels in the world, primarily because of the aesthetics and beautiful appearance, as well as excellent protection against corrosion, chemical influences and temperature resistance. The problem with black matte enamel is a product that is not uniform in color, contains nickel, poor adhesion and uneven thickness. This project develops an integrated, digitally controlled system that enables precise application of nickel-free black matte powder enamel on tubular metal products. This system includes the development of a reliable methodology for the input testing of nickel-free powder enamel (raw material in the enameling process) before it is actually used in the enameling process. This ensures that the incoming raw material has a constant and verified quality, and therefore that the final coating is stable, uniform and long-lasting. In addition to the laboratory part, the project also includes the development of a cloud service that will enable monitoring of test results, comparison between production lines and billing for use according to actual need ("powder-on-demand"). The application of new digitally managed technology will enable the regulation of many technological parameters that help reduce scrap and strengthen the company's capacity.
